PSHE

LOGO - Woodfield Primary (Yellow).png

At Woodfield Primary, our PSHE curriculum supports the development of physically, emotional and socially healthy young people, equipped to live healthy, safe, productive and responsible lives and that are able to keep themselves and others safe. It supports the development of essential skills for the 21st century, encouraging positive career choices and good behaviour. It aims to reduce or remove barriers to learning, such as bullying, low self-esteem, unhealthy or risky behaviours. We see Personal, Social and Health Education as a critical and necessary part of all of our pupils’ education. This is embedded within our whole school approach.

PSHE has robust links with our school values – ambition, belief and courage - which aim to ensure that all children are valued as individuals and that the ‘whole’ child is nurtured.

Through our child-centred PSHE curriculum, we give our children the knowledge, understanding and skills they need to flourish in modern Britain and take on responsibilities both in our school and community.
